Next Twitter Contest

Arrange your schedule so you can enter our next contest on Twitter!

It's set for 11 a.m. Monday (March 16). That’s the day before St. Patrick’s Day, so we’re going with a green theme this time around. We’ll give away 10 sets of $30 worth of our “Goin’ Green” scratch tickets! 

Just follow us on Twitter, give the correct answer to an EASY question during the contest, and you'll be entered for a chance to win one of the sets of free tickets.

(Here’s the question we’ll ask, so you can do your research on our Web site in advance: What’s the top prize in Goin’ Green?)

At 11 a.m. Monday, we'll pose our question on Twitter. Reply with the right answer within the next 15 minutes and you’ll be entered into the contest! Remember to reply to @ialottery on Twitter. Don't direct message us, as direct messages don’t count as an entry.
 
We'll put the Twitter names of all those who give the correct answer on plastic cups filled with green water. Then we’ll give an ol’ carnival game a try by bouncing ping pong balls across the cups to determine the contest winners. If the ping pong ball lands in the cup with your name on it, you win!

We'll videotape the contest results, then post the video on our Web site and YouTube. We'll also provide a link to the video from Twitter and we'll post an announcement with the winners' names on this blog.

If you win, you'll need to contact us within 72 hours of the contest’s end with your name and mailing address so we can send out your free tix!

A few requirements:
• You must to be at least 21 years old to enter, and you must live in Iowa.
• No purchase necessary to enter or to win!
