You liked it when we debuted it last fall, so we're bringing back the Super Sampler promotion!

The Super Sampler started yesterday and runs through May 2. During the promotion, you'll save $2 when you buy $3 in Powerball plays with $3 in the Power Play option and $3 in Hot Lotto plays with the $3 Sizzler option. That's a $12 value for just $10.

You may already be familiar with these details., but if not: The Power Play and Hot Lotto Sizzler are options that both cost an extra $1 per play and give players the opportunity to multiply their prizes (except the jackpot). The Power Play can multiply a Powerball prize from two to five times, while the Hot Lotto Sizzler option triples non-jackpot prizes in that game.

And, because it got your attention last year, we're also bringing back our Super Sampler commercial, which features an Iowa chicken as its star. People told us that the commercial, starring a hen that appears to talk, made them smile last year. We could all use an extra smile these days, so we’re bringing the commercial back. By the way: Maddie, the hen in the ad, lives at Fox Hollow Farms near Elkhart when she's not starring on TV!
