Now’s your chance to see one of the world’s best-known detectives here in Iowa!
Sales have started today in the Iowa Lottery’s “Sherlock Holmes” instant-scratch game that’s based on the upcoming motion picture about the legendary sleuth. Lottery sales representatives will be delivering tickets to retail locations throughout the week and the game will be available statewide by the close of business on Friday.
The action-adventure movie will be released on Christmas Day. It stars Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as his trusted colleague, Watson. It’s directed by filmmaker Guy Ritchie for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures.
Sherlock Holmes is a $2 game. You’ll see artwork on the tickets of symbols associated with the story’s famous characters, including a pocket watch and bowler hat. Prizes in the game range from $2 up to $20,000!
