We have corrected the list that is shown on the lottery website at http://www.ialottery.com//Games/RemainingPrizes.asp.
It’s important to note that the odds in the Jumble game have not changed – they’ve been listed correctly all along. And no prizes were “taken away” in the game -- it’s simply that the number of prizes for that game was initially listed incorrectly and we have now rectified that.
The details that are shown on our website today about the Jumble game are correct: There were a total of 13 top prizes of $30,000 available in the game when it began sales on July 8 (four of those have been claimed so far); 100 prizes of $1,000 (23 of which have been claimed); and 1,993 prizes of $100 (453 of which have been claimed). In addition to those larger prizes, there also are thousands and thousands of smaller prizes available in the game, ranging from $3 up to $50.
Thank you for playing lottery games and for paying close attention to the information we provide about our products. We do our best to provide accurate, timely information. When mistakes do occur, we correct them.
