This is a true one. The scammers have contacted me on 3 separate occasions. The best/worst part is, my caller id was showing my own home phone number. Of course I was curious and heard a few moments of their spiel. When I contacted my local phone company, they said there was nothing they could do. But, an alert was put out in the community about giving out personal information over the phone. It irritates me that they can use my phone number for this scam.
