We’ve Already Got A Big Winner In Our Holiday Games!

Our holiday-themed games for this season have just hit the streets, and we’ve already got a top-prize winner in one of them! I think that’s called lucky timing.

Joshua Harris of Cedar Falls won the top prize of $30,000 in our new “Holiday Crossword” scratch game. He said he usually plays Crossword tickets because he feels like he has the best luck on them – and I guess he’s right!

Josh said he thought at first he’d won $300, but it turns out there were a few more zeroes involved in his prize. Josh plans to use some of his prize winnings to buy a newer vehicle.   

I had just blogged last week about our holiday games going on sale to kick off our “Winter of Winners” promotion, and retailers are enjoying having so many games out there for their lottery customers to play. On the right is a view from the field of all the holiday games for sale at Prairie City Foods in Prairie City!

Josh definitely has us off to a good start for the season! I wonder who our next big winner will be…?
