We held the drawing today in our “Sun Time Fun Time” promotion, proving that 13 definitely IS a lucky number!

Our players made more than 145,000 entries in the Sun Time Fun Time promotion. From noon July 7 through noon Tuesday, Iowa Lottery players could enter nonwinning tickets from our four X-themed scratch games into the promotion for a chance at the prizes involved.
We found it interesting to watch as the promotion entries rolled in. While the cash prizes category got the most entries (Because who doesn’t like cash?), the boats and camper were in nearly a dead heat. I think people liked them all! Here’s how the entries broke down:

And on a side note, while the promotion has ended, sales in the “5X,” “10X®,” “15X” and “20X” scratch games continue. Many of our promotions run for just part of the time that the games involved are on sale. But we know that people want to keep playing for the prizes in those games even after the promotion is done, so we keep them out there whenever we can.
