It’s been 12 years since a lottery game this big got started! Back then, the new game that had just hit the streets was Mega Millions®. And can you believe it was 10 years before that when Powerball® made its debut? Yep, back in 1992!
Today, sales have begun in MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ here in Iowa and across the country. In a few years, we’ll all look back and realize this game has become an everyday part of our lives just like its other multi-state counterparts. But in the meantime, you need to know how to play it.
MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB is the game that gives you three chances on each ticket to win a prize of at least $1 million: through a weekly lotto drawing; in a separate drawing triggered only when the game's Top Prize is won; and on a nationally televised game show.
You can buy tickets in MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB at the lottery terminal, just like you do in Powerball and Mega Millions. You can ask the clerk for an easy-pick to have the terminal randomly generate numbers for you, or you can use a play slip to choose your own numbers.
Click on the video above to see what it’s all about! Look for the TV game show to debut in February, and we have a feeling you’ll hear about the kick-off festivities for this new game tomorrow from New York’s Times Square!
