We’ve been talking about it for a few months now, and the time for the debut of a new TV game show has arrived! The MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB game show begins airing this weekend (March 28 and 29).
Hundreds of contestants from around the country, including some lucky Iowa Lottery players, attended tapings of the game show in January and February and won prizes at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The game show will begin airing locally this weekend on the following TV stations:
• WQAD-TV in Moline, Ill., Channel 8
• KHQA-TV in Quincy, Ill., Channel 7
• KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Channel 2
• KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Mo., Channel 3
• KCCI-TV in Des Moines, Channel 8
• KIMT-TV in Mason City, Channel 3
• KMEG-TV in Dakota Dunes, S.D., Channel 14
• KETV-TV in Omaha, Neb., Channel 7.
Check your local station’s listings for the show this weekend, then tune in to cheer for the Iowa Lottery contestants!
The 16 episodes of the show that have already been taped are the only segments that will feature an Iowa Lottery player. That was part of our lottery’s decision-making when the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB draw game ended back in December. Some states are moving ahead with a scratch game featuring the same name, but Iowa is not part of that group.
