The winning streak for our new InstaPlay product continues!
Earlier this week two more Iowa Lottery players claimed big progressive jackpot prizes in InstaPlay.
On Monday, Karolyn Manley of Ireton claimed a $9,511.55 progressive jackpot she had won Friday on a Cherry Twist Progressive ticket she bought at Chubs Country Store, 100 Iowa Highway 12 in Akron.
Also on Monday, Tim Wright of Jewell claimed a $2,609.15 progressive jackpot he had won Saturday in the same game on a ticket he bought at Swift Stop, 3218 Orion Drive in Ames.
There have now been 11 for jackpot winners in the Cherry Twist Progressive InstaPlay game, which, along with the rest of our InstaPlay products, just debuted in November.
The jackpot in Cherry Twist Progressive starts at $2,000 and grows with each ticket sold in the game until it’s won. If this is the first time you’re hearing about our new InstaPlay games, click here to see the details about them.
Hi, Tedd. While you would argue that few people from Des Moines win, we have other commenters to the blog who argue that it is ONLY those people from the Des Moines area who win. It seems to be an urban myth that you believe "no one from here ever wins" no matter where you're from. I think it's because folks won't ever truly be satisfied until THEY'RE the big winner. And I do understand that -- people play the lottery hoping to win a prize, right? The fact is that people all across the state win lottery prizes every day. Thank you for your comment to the blog!

To bad, it seems, that nobody wins this, or large scratch ticket prizes in Des Moines very much. There have been a few but not very many
