To make it easier to search, we’ve updated the page on our website that lists the unclaimed lotto and InstaPlay prizes of more than $600 in Iowa.
The default format on the Unclaimed Prizes page still lists the prizes by game and amount in descending order. But we’ve also added arrows at the top of each column so you can search the list by game, location of ticket purchase, city, prize amount, date won or date of prize expiration.
When we’ve discussed the unclaimed prizes list, everyone seemed to have a different opinion about the best way for it to be sorted. So, now you can search the list however you’d like!
(As an FYI, the biggest unclaimed prize currently on the list is a $1 million Powerball prize won April 11 in Nevada. That’s followed by a $50,000 Powerball prize won Aug. 1 in Bettendorf, and a $30,000 Pick 4 prize won Aug. 3 in Davenport.)
I hope you like the new search options!
Hi, Everett! I'm so glad you like the new format for that page. We appreciate hearing your feedback because we want to know if the work we're doing is making a difference -- positive or negative. So, thank you for commenting about it here on the blog.

I like the new look. This is the very first place I go in the morning to see if my town and where I buy my tickets is on the list.
