A player who reached out to us on Facebook asked an important question about the Remaining Prizes list we keep on our website: Where do those numbers come from?
If you’re not familiar with the Remaining Prizes list, it can be found here. (I also included a screenshot below from that page.) It lists the prizes of $100 or more available in our scratch, pull-tab and InstaPlay games, the number of those prizes that have already been claimed, and the number that are still available. The details automatically record as tickets are scanned on the lottery’s statewide gaming system.
The list on our website is then updated each morning to provide the latest snapshot of our games and prizes.
We want you to know the stats and have regular updates about the tickets that are out there, and the list is a quick way to keep all of those details in one place.
We also keep an Unclaimed Prizes list on our website of the prizes that have been won but not yet claimed in our lotto games including Powerball® and Mega Millions® as well as our InstaPlay games. That information also records automatically as tickets are scanned on our system, and the list on our website is refreshed each morning.
Feel free to check out those lists when you’re looking for the latest details, but if you ever have further questions, feel free to reach out to us. We’ll be glad to help.
