The lottery promotion we know folks look for each year has opened for entries this morning with more than $1 million in prizes on the line!
Our annual holiday promotion, called “Cash Prizes Are Coming To Town” this year, will have two drawing dates to award 23 cash prizes totaling $1.1 million.
Players can enter the promotion with nonwinning tickets in the 7 holiday-themed scratch games and 2 holiday-themed InstaPlay games available this year in Iowa.
In the promotion’s drawings on Dec. 10 and Jan. 9, the Iowa Lottery will give away 23 cash prizes ranging from $25,000 up to $250,000. There will be an exclusive second-chance drawing for a $100,000 prize from only those ELF tickets entered into the promotion.

The ELF scratch and InstaPlay games from the Iowa Lottery are licensed by Scientific Games, LLC, and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
Players who join or are already members of the lottery’s free VIP Club can enter the promotion with nonwinning tickets in any of the eligible games. The promotion’s entry period runs from today through 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 8.
Details About The Prize Drawings
In the promotion’s first drawing on Dec. 10, the lottery will select the winners of 10 prizes of $25,000 from among entries made by 9:59 a.m. on Dec. 9.
The promotion’s final three drawings will all be held on Jan. 9.
• The first drawing that day will choose the winners of another 10 prizes of $25,000.
• Then the grand-prize drawing will be held to select 2 winners of $250,000.
• After that, the exclusive drawing for a $100,000 prize will be held from among the promotion’s ELF entries.

I see Merry Mint but when click on it nothing comes up to enter tickets. WHY?
