We held the drawing today in our “Mike’s Picks” promotion and seven lucky players are finding out right now that they’ve won trips to Nashville, Tenn., or LeClaire, where they’ll get to tour Mike Wolfe’s Antique Archaeology stores!
The winner of the grand-prize trip for four to Nashville is Samantha Pieczynski of Davenport! She and three guests will get to tour the Antique Archaeology store there and the Grand Ole Opry® as part of their trip. We’re jealous!
Our players made nearly 57,000 entries in the Mike’s Picks promotion. From noon on April 4 through noon yesterday, Iowa Lottery players could enter nonwinning tickets from the $5 Mike’s Picks scratch game into the promotion for a chance to win a trip and products from Iowa companies.

And on a side note, while the promotion has ended, sales in the Mike’s Picks scratch game continue. Many of our promotions run for just part of the time that the game involved is on sale. But we know that people want to keep playing for the prizes in the game even after the promotion is done, so we keep the game out there whenever we can.
Another thing to note: One person won two prizes in the Mike’s Picks drawings today – that’s not a typo. There were separate drawings for the trips and the Iowa products, so technically, one person could have won three prizes today – the Nashville trip, a LeClaire trip and a tote bag of products. Rose Nissen of Clinton came close, winning both a LeClaire trip and an assortment of Iowa products.
